Here I am!
 

Hello everyone! I started my journey learning Spanish years ago with a brief trip to Guatemala which got cut short due to an injury. However, in 2008 I moved to Lima, Peru where I lived and worked for three years. Since then, I've been in graduate school completing my masters and now working on my doctorate in Spanish Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition. I teach Spanish 1-4 at a state university. I'm excited to have found this group and to get to know you everyone!

I'm from Spain but sometimes I don't understand people from Southamerica. I'm sure it was very hard for you to learn spanish in that way!

Hi David,

I'm grateful for all of the folks that had so much patience with me when I was starting out. It wasn't too bad, I truly didn't learn too much in Guatemala so most of my experience was in Peru. The accent there is fairly neutral which certainly helps!
