What's your favorite kind of music?

I love classical music (no singing in it), no matter what the culture. I like SOME music with singing in it.

I voted for: Classical, Rock, Jazz, Ethnic, Other.
The other genres I like are: Acoustic, Blues, Indie, Reggae, and New-Folk, which is my favorite genre.

I like listening to music in foreign languages. My collection includes music in Russian, Finnish, Portuguese and Spanish, but I would like to add some more to my list - but I will have to like the music as well.

You just voted for jazz on the poll

oops, I got it wrong, sorry. Actually, you didn't vote on it AT ALL

I like songs in many languages. I don't have much in any one, though.

Out of curiosity, have you heard music in Hindi? There are many different music styles in India, but the stuff I own is from a particular movie. The two videos I've included below contain both men and women singing in Hindi. How the women sing the way they do is incredible.

While I was out looking for the videos above, I found this one from another movie. It contains spoken Hindi before and after the main song. It is of better quality than the two above. I love the song in it.

Yes, I have heard Hindi, and other music in that genre, in Tamil, Indian, etc. but it is unfortunately not really my style. Thanks for the links though!

I like the music in gender as Rock, and Pop too, I like the music of Lacuna Coil and between others, and I'll like to meet to Lacuna Coil, if you see my profile, I've a picture of a girl, well she is Lacuna Coil, at least she is the soloist, and I tell you that she is ardent.

A soloist is someone who is all alone (i.e. not in a band), and Lacuna Coil is the singer in the band (of the same name), Lacuna Coil. That means, that she is the one who is singing... she is the vocalist.

I chose to remove the word ardent, which seems a bit archaic and outdated. And I don't even think it really fits what you're trying to say. I just put in good instead, but it can be replaced with a stronger adjective of meaning, if you would like.

Uff I have a lot mistakes, I'm sorry, next time I will try to don't do more mistakes in my post.

CrOtALiTo October 09, 2008 12:03 PM

I lost practice in my English, When I feel to be hard pressed, I don't think with else the that I'm writing in my post and, for that reason, I make mistakes, I know if you have happened the same sometime.

ElDanés October 09, 2008 11:09 PM

It's okay. I could see that it wasn't the best you've wrote, and I know you can do better, so don't worry. :) And yes, it happens to me as well. But normally I'm not making grammatical mistakes when I'm tired or in a hurry, I'm more that kind of type who inserts strange words all over the places. :p

CrOtALiTo October 09, 2008 11:37 PM

Yeah, you are right.
