Could I use the plural here?

-FunFunTandore, an American company that employs French voice actors to dub Japanese animations, in fact has been a contributor to French learning.

Animation sounds like the process, which does not allow the plural.

The plural you've proposed is proper.

If you use the singular form, you must also use an article.
