Custom user titles
 

As you may notice, we all have a user title under our usernames. Most of us have a "precious stone" (diamond/ruby/opal) etc., based on the number of posts we have made. Currently, I have the software set up to allow you to set your own custom user title after certain criteria are reached. These include minimum number of posts (1000), minimum reputation level (20), and minimum days registered (30). After these criteria are met, then your user account will be queued for promotion. Promotion will usually be taken care of within a few hours of entering the queue. After that, you will see a new setting called "Custom User Title" in your Control Panel under "Edit Your Details", where you can change your user title.

Poli, creo que debes tener la opción de cambiar tu título si vas a "Pánel de Control" => "Editar Tu Información". (Control Panel => Edit Your Details)

Well, after I read it I still don't understand how it works, the User Title thing.

When you have posted 1000 times, and if you've received at least 20 reputation points (given to you by other members of the forums by clicking on the 'balance' icon), and if you've been a member of the forums at least a month, you'll be able to change your user title. Currently, based on the number of posts you've done, your user title is a particular precious stone. When you reach the 1000 posts mark, the precious stone automatically changes to a sapphire. At that time, if you meet the three criteria listed above, you'll also have the option to change it to something else.
