Me crié en un país francófono, pues hablo ambos inglés y francés con fluidez. Espero alcanzar competencia del nivel C1 en españolpara poder utilizarlo también (or "también utilizarlo"?)como idioma de trabajo.

I have an inkling feeling that something's not quite right, with the prepositions and word order and all, in the two bits in green. Can you please tell me if my intuition is right or not?

"Pues" is not correctly used: you're saying that because you speak English and French fluently, you grew up in a French speaking country. :thinking:

Get rid of so many words in "Espero alcanzar competencia del nivel C1 en español"; your focus is only on level C1 in Spanish. That's the only rewording you need. In any case, if you wish to keep all the words, only one definite article is missing before "competencia". I think the sentence would sound in Spanish pretty much as it would sound in French. :)

"Utilizarlo también" and "también utilizarlo" are both correct; a native speaker would use one or the other depending only on a personal preference about the rhythm of the sentence.

"Ambos" is only used when your listener/reader already know what the two things are.

- Tengo dos hijos. Ambos van al mismo colegio.
- Hay café y té; se me antojan ambos.
- No puedo decidirme entre estas dos blusas; ambas me gustan.


Try using a construction with the words "tanto - como". :)
