¡Hola!

Mi nombre es Henrik. I'm a Swedish expatriate and immigrant to the US. I currently work as a warehouse worker, while in the past I was a Royal Guardsman (Guardia Real?) back in Sweden. I've decided to try my hands at learning Spanish to perhaps one day become a translator/interpreter and make lots and lots of dineros.

Honestly, mostly it's for fun (Para divertido?), and of course, I've always wanted to learn a third language. (The other two being Inglés y Sueco). But I'm also hoping it will help me further my career and allow me to find a better job in a warm and cozy office rather than a cold and noisy warehouse. We shall see. :D

I started a blog to record my progress, and as I grow more familiar with the language, write in Spanish. I'm not going to rely on any one method/source to learn the language, but rather spread it out a little. I've got a few apps, I've got a few CD's with Michel Thomas, I've got some Spanish TV shows, and I've got this forum. Hopefully, between all of these I won't grow bored while also learn some basics.
