I would greatly appreciate help with writing a sign in Spanish. It needs to say:

Danger! Do not stand under this. It might collapse.

Sorry about that. I am not trying to learn Spanish, but I also am not a business looking for free translation services. I am just a homeowner trying to warn the local gardening crew about a potential danger to their safety. I think perdido is the word for danger. I'll try Google's translator.

Spanish has an inverted exclamation mark that precedes the exclamatory remark, should you add the proper punctuation.

Instead of the verb you were given, use 'No se pare debajo de' (or, to be less direct, 'No pararse debajo de') and name the structure (don't say 'este' (this)).

Add punctuation to the final line (I would make it another exclamation).

Naming the structure is a bit of a challenge. Homebuilders call it an "eyebrow." What it is is a little roof--like structure above a door to protect against the weather. If you're not familiar with the term, do a Google image search using the words "eyebrow above door."

To get around the problem I was going to tape a picture of the eyebrow to the door and have an arrow pointing to it from the words "Do not stand under this."

You can add 'esta' in front of 'estructura'. (It needs either a determiner or an article.) It's a sentence, so you can end it with a period.
You can also add '¡Puede derrumbarse!' to your sign.

I found a couple of sites that translate your eyebrow as 'ceja'.

So would that be "No se pare debajo de esta estructura."

And I think "Puede derrumabrse" means "It may collapse." Is that right?

Yes and yes (check your spelling).

If you use 'esta estructura', that is generic and understandable. If you want to be more specific, use '... debajo de la ceja de puerta'.
