The tasty salad...

I want to respond to the question "¿Es sabrosa la ensalada de frutas con las papas o con los plátanos?"

I think I have to say:

La ensalada de frutas es sabrosa con los plátanos.

Also does this make sense vv?
Q: Comemos la mantequilla con el pan tostado o con bistec?
R: Comen la mantequilla con el pan tostado.

Your first response is correct.
Your second response is not. Look at the person (person, as conjugated) used in the question. Should the person change when responding?
