Slow site

I don't know if any of you have noticed, but the site and forums have been quite slow lately. This has been really noticeable in the grammar section, which runs a rather server-intensive piece of software, but is now noticeable here in the forums as well. This is due to the fact that tomisimo has been growing and getting more visitors of late, and the server can't handle the load. So I'm out shopping for a new server. I'll be busy over the next few days making a decision and moving the entire site to a new server. I will keep you all informed and if there is to be downtime due to the move I'll notify you all in advance. Thanks, you're the best forum members in the whole wide world! :thumbsup:

well i have to say I agree. it's going slower than usual. hope you can get a new server soon :)

Hasta aquí he pagado todo con mi dinero. :) But at the same time there is some advertising revenue to help offset the costs. You don't see any ads on the forums while you're logged in, but there are ads on the dictionary for example. ¡Si quieren donar dinero, debo ver cómo se puede hacer! :D

I'm not sure about others, but I would certainly donate a few bucks to help support the site if you got that set up somehow. I've paid between $10 and $50 for many books about Spanish and this site has helped me more than any of those have.

Yes, I agree with you geeper, I like, you I have books in English but, they in really never have helped me a lot as this site, then David the questions is Do you want some kind of donation for the website?, you accept credit card.
