Rey
This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for November 4, 2008
rey - masculine noun (el) - king. Look up rey in the dictionary El león es el rey de la selva. The lion is the king of the jungle. |
and to think the tiger was the king of the jungle.....one of my teachers said it was the tiger...
|
He's right.
It's sayed that the tiger is the "king of the jungle" in Asia and the lion is the "king of the jungle" in Africa. They don't live together...... :D Like in all wrestling matches, in a confrontation between lion and tiger ¿wich will win?... PD: There is an "asian lion" in India, but only 2000 of them, and they are not together. |

Bienvenido Sosia......:applause::applause: |
En el pais de los ciegos...el tuerto es el rey:thinking::p
|
Y en el pais de los ladrones......el manco
En el pais de .... sprinters and runners ..... el cojo! |
(puzzled, very)
En el pais de los ladrones, el manco won't have any advantage (sth doesn't match) Se coge antes a un mentiroso que a un cojo |
La ventaja sería que tú nunca creerías que el manco es el ladrón.....
Es obvio, no? |
oh, the tiger's the king of the jungle in Asia? ok then. and the lion is the king of the jungle in other places....right? :thinking::confused:
