It is Easier for You........
 

I said the following sentence in Spanish and then afterwards questioned if it was correct and/or even understood. Is the following a viable way of saying:

It's easier for you to tell me in Spanish than it is for me to try to tell you in English.

Es más fácil para ti que me lo digas en español que para mí intentar a decírtelo en inglés.

Is my use of the subjunctive correct or should I have used infinitive forms for all the verbs?

If the subjunctive is correct, should I have used the subjunctive throughout the sentence or is the way I said it correct and understandable?

As always, any and all input is appreciated.

This type of expression is often used in a idiomatic phrase using dárselo.
My Spanish is somewhat awkward, but I believe you may something like se le da mejor hablar conmigo en español que para mi tratar de decírtelo en inglés

Your use of the subjunctive is correct, Bobbert.
@Poli: There must be subject agreement. I suggest something like: "se te daría mejor decírmelo en español que a mí decírtelo en inglés".
And just for the sake of regionalisms, this wouldn't be the first choice in Latin America, I think. :thinking:
