If I omit 'con', is the sentence still grammatically correct?

- Todos en la comunidad contribuimos con trabajo y dinero para construir el hospital. ("Con" for the thing provided to help achieve a goal.)

- Todos en la comunidad contribuimos a reconstruir el hospital. ("A" for the goal the subject helped to achieve.)
- Los chicos no contribuyen a mantener la escuela.
