Tutorials
I'd like to write some tutorials or helpful articles on different aspects of Spanish grammar and how to learn Spanish. I have lots of ideas that I'd like to write about, but before I get started, I'd like to know what things would be most helpful to you. What areas do you have the most trouble with etc.

Re: Tutorials
A tutorial on es and está would be helpful. Describing when it it proper to use está and es, and why está and es are used when they are. For example, why it is ¿donde está el banco? instead of ¿donde es el banco?

Re: Tutorials
Thanks Zach. Sounds like a good one. I'll get started on it. :)

Re: Tutorials
It's hard for me to say things like, "We gave a present to EACHOTHER," and "We'll see EACHOTHER at the movies." A tutorial on that would be great!

Re: Tutorials
Yes, how and when to use "each other" in Spanish. That would be extremely helpful.
:D |
Re: Tutorials
Ok, I'll see if I can crank something out for you :)

Subjunctive
A tutorial on the subjunctive would be nice. I don't understand it at all. I don't even understand why we need to study it lol.

Re: Tutorials
i think the subjunctive is used for opinions or to attach some kind of emotion to what you're saying rather than just stating a fact.
If you could do a tutorial on por and para i'd find that incredibly useful, most places give you examples of when you use them but don't tell you the fundamental difference which i think would be more useful |
Re: Tutorials
Thanks pogo, I'll add a por/para tutorial to the list :) (and start working on them soon ;D)

Re: Tutorials
thanks, i'll look forward to it.
