Después de mi última clase...

Después mi última clase en lunes, estudié con un grupo para la sociología y nos tomamos seis horas. Ayudé los estudiantes de escuela superior con sus tareas de matemáticas y inglés por dos horas en martes. Fui a la (part of the name of the library) Biblioteca con mis amigos y estudiamos para la informática. Estudiamos por ocho horas. En jueves, fui a de compras con mi una de amigas. Después, pasé tiempo con (name of a person) e hicimos galletas. Fui al cine con mi otro amigo en sabado a ver (the movie title...) y no me gusto. Estudié para mi examen de español todos los días por lo menos una hora al día la semana pasada. Dormí ocho horas todas las noches la semana pasada.

For my own good, and practicing of Spanish, is it okay if I try to translate this to English? It's good practice for me. Some words I haven't learned yet but I will figure it out.

The imperfect tense is used for habitual or repeated past actions. Both of the past tenses are important to know, since they're the tenses you'll use most often in normal conversation.

Gracias, I want to avoid using imperfect tense... so can you also please check the following sentences in bold?

Quiero nos tenemos éxito en el examen por siguiendo miércoles. --- Queiro decir "I want us to be successful in the following exam on wednesday.

Compré tres camisas que costaron $300.

Comí todas galletas porque me gusta les.

Estudié para mi exámen de español por siete horas la semana pasada.

If you're doing homework that requires only the preterite, I understand. You need to formulate sentences, then, that only deal with completed actions/ideas. Otherwise, it's impossible to avoid the imperfect tense. :)

I don't see a problem with that, it would be good practice for you.

Can I add the day like "...en lunes." at the end of the sentence or does it have to be always at the beginning of the sentence like "En lunes..."

It is el lunes. There is no need to say en; this is understood when you use the article. And yes, it can go elsewhere in the sentence. I placed it where, in my opinion, it sounded better.

El sábado, fuimos al cine a ver ...
Fuimos el sábado al cine a ver ...
Fuimos al cine el sábado a ver ...
Fuimos al cine a ver ... el sábado.
