tumba - feminine noun (la) - tomb, grave. Look up tumba in the dictionary

Algunas tumbas no son más que una lápida mientras otras son grandes y ornatas, casi como una pequeña casa.
Some graves are no more than a gravestone while others are large and ornate, almost like a small house.

this is a cognate....at first I thought it meant "tumble" but that didn't seem right.

Well there is ....

tumba = grave/tomb

Then there is the verb Tumbar which means to tumble....so you were right.

Ok, then Tumba mean grave, Okis doky, I have learnt a new word for me.

learnt? I guess that the British way to saying learned (for us it's learned as in the past tense of learn)

A more precise translation for tumbar would be to knock over/down.

oh ok i will make note of that :)

Then I can to say, Tumbo al perro, I knock down to the dog, I have knocked down you, because I won the fight.
