Sudadera
This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for December 18, 2008
sudadera - feminine noun (la) - sweatshirt. Look up sudadera in the dictionary Cuando hace frío afuera se me antoja andar de sudadera. When it's cold out wearing a sweatshirt feels good. |
or a suéter, or however you spell it, is a sweater
|
Some people use chandal instead of sudadera.
It's regional. |
we learned it as sudadera
what do you mean by regional? |
In New York we say paper bag. In California they say paper sack. It's regional. In New England they say pail. In Virginia they say bucket.
In the U.S. we say elevator. In Britain they say lift. There are regional language variations. Because of all the different Spanish speaking countries have been isolated from each other in the past, there's a lot of regionalisms. |
oh ok yeah thats right
