Go Ahead of You/Step In Front of You

I was getting in line in a Mexican market to pay for my items today when I suddenly noticed someone next to me. I wasn’t sure if I had gone ahead of this lady, so I wanted to say in Spanish:

I’m sorry. Did I go/get ahead of you in the line?
or
I’m sorry. Did I step in front of you?

But all I could think to say at the time was:

Lo siento. ¿Me puse en frente de Usted?

What would have been a way to say the above statements that a native would have said? If it happens again, I’m still not sure what to say.

I think what you said would be understood in context. :)

We might say things like:
- Disculpe, ¿me metí en la fila/cola?
- Perdón, ¿(ya) está/estaba usted formada?
- ¿Usted estaba antes?
- ¿Ya estaba usted en la fila/cola?

Yet, don't worry too much. We Mexicans tend to make a fuss when someone cuts the line, so you'll definitely know if you hear: "¡A la cola!". :D

Thank you, AngelicaDeAlquezar. Those are great and easy to remember.
