setting the temperature

Pero no se como explicar, pueden ayudarme....Gracias......."you have to hold down the up or down arrows untill the set botton blinks, then you can set the tempeture". I am not looking for an exact translation, one that would make sence in espanol.

Here's what I would say. It may not be the most correct way but I am sure it would be understood.

-or-
ser intermitente. -or-
parpadear.
Entonces, puede poner la temperatura (que desea).

......."you have to hold down the up or down arrows untill the set botton blinks, then you can set the tempeture".
another option

Saludos :D

As a side note, "push the button" in Mexican Spanish is best rendered "apachurrar el botón"-- you will even hear Anglicization "puchar el botón". :) Also in Mexico, parpadear is the best verb for "to blink" in terms of a light (foquito) blinking.

Yes, as David said, the word Purchar or precionar, you can use the word inclusive apretar, but the way more correct is precionar, but anyhow you can use the best chose said in this post.

My two cents, from what Poli said:
