Me da grima
From what I gather it means, it repulses me. It is used in Spain. Is it used in the Americas?
|
It may be used in Mexico, but it's probably now archaic or high register.
I've only heard old teachers use it. :D It's a shame though, because "dar grima" is the closest idea I can find to something being cringeworthy. ;) These are some examples of how I learnt to use the expression: - Fue terrible el discurso del candidato. |
it ´s hush register in Spain but widely used .
It disgusts me. It unsettles me |
