Look at this! Mexicans are told to swallow their gum. :lol: today I swallowed my gum!! it has never happened before. felt weird.

it says that swallowing gum is bad, because it can cause an intestinal blockage. Well, maybe that won't happen to me. :eek:

Although you didn't believe me, I have eaten gums before, when I was very younger, and it never make me ill.

Swallowing gum poses no threat to your digestive system. It passes through in a couple of days, just like any other roughage you may eat. There have been no documented cases of damage or illness caused by swallowing gum.
On the other hand, chewing gum (not swallowing it) has some undesirable side effects, and there is a possibility of choking.

Spitting out gum without regard to others or the environment is the problem. Singapore has banned gum for that very reason. You'll be fined and serve jail time if you're caught chewing gum there.

People need to think about others and the environment. They should always save the wrapper the gum came in. When done chewing, they can unfold and flatten the wrapper, hold it up to their mouth and push the gum into the wrapper with their tongue. Then, they can wrap the gum up so that no sticky surface is exposed and toss it in the garbage. If no trash receptacle is readily available, the securely wrapped gum can be carried until a suitable depository can be found. Problem solved. :twocents:

I do that. I always put the gum in the wrapper.
I know, lots of people just put gum under a desk, or even on the carpet. That's really disgusting. Also, I see gum on the ground and in grass. That's bad.

Yes, I know what the people is very dirty, because, they always throw the gum the floor, and well sometimes the same people let the gum under of the table, it's nasty.
