Una pregunta simple y estúpida.
Ambos "a" y "para" puede significar "to".
¿En las frases siguientes, cual es la diferencia?

Vine para verte. Vine a verte.
Vine a saludarte. Vine para saludarte.

Using 'para' suggests purpose or reason. (I came here to see you.)
The preposition 'a' introduces an infinitive being used as a noun (where we would use a full infinitive in English).
