Rat & Mouse

I know that rat and mouse are different creatures (but both rodents) and I forgot the differences. can someone tell me what the difference is?

1. Rats are larger

Is mouse in Spanish ratón and rat something else? Rata??

I don't know anything above the animal world. And I'm not a veterinary, but I believe that the rat and the mouse has different creatures because the mouse is smaller and the rat is larger than the mouse although. I believe that rat can be grew in captivity, and the rat will no. Then you can do a search at the website about the different middle the rat and the mouse. Goog luck.

mouse = ratón
rat = rata

Only an expert can tell more about specific differences, but rats are larger... and more ferocious, I think.
