Se dice Gracias a todos, por leer (me). Te recomiendo que leas y escribas un cuento en español. El que mas te guste. Si es uno que has leido en ingles, tanto mejor. :-) |
Hello Joseph.
Since you state you're to learn and practice, I'll make a few corrections to what you wrote and hope you're not offended. :) Quote:

Welcome, Joseph! "They" have recommended the same thing for me - to get a book to read in Spanish. I chose the first Harry Potter book. As a children's book, it's likely easier than an adult novel. And because I've read it (AND listened to a recording of it on CD) in English, I am very familiar with the story. So I'm enjoying it (slowly but surely!!) It's a great recommendation! Welcome!!

Thank so much. I didn't know this word Enjoyable.
I like this word is more explicit and a anyway you have gave in the nail. Because I didn't know that word use as welcome. |

"Enjoyable" is an adjective describing something that is fun: "divertido" or "agradable". I think that someone changed your word "funny", which isn't (probably) what you were trying to say. "Funny" is actually something that makes you laugh - a joke or something that happened that was a non-critical mistake, etc. |
Then enjoyable is not very used.
In your example you told me that I should change the word funny by fun, I believe that you are right. Because they aren't the same in meaning. |
