¿como estáis?

mi llamo joseph y soy de escocia y soy escoces, tengo treinta y uno años.

por siete semana estoy aprendiendo un poco español en mi clase y en mi casa pero quiero a aprender mas y a practicar, asi estoy aqui tambien. mi gusto a aprender español pero yo entiendo mi español es muy mal por ahora pero con tiempo quiero mejorar.

Also please anyone feel free to correct anything i say in spanish, i'm pretty much an absolute beginner so i welcome any guidance. hopefully i can help others with their english too.

Te recomiendo que leas y escribas un cuento en español. El que mas te guste. Si es uno que has leido en ingles, tanto mejor. :-)

Welcome, Joseph! "They" have recommended the same thing for me - to get a book to read in Spanish. I chose the first Harry Potter book. As a children's book, it's likely easier than an adult novel. And because I've read it (AND listened to a recording of it on CD) in English, I am very familiar with the story. So I'm enjoying it (slowly but surely!!) It's a great recommendation! Welcome!!

I like this word is more explicit and a anyway you have gave in the nail. Because I didn't know that word use as welcome.

Actually, Luis, "enjoyable" is not used as "welcome". They have very different meanings. "Welcome" is really basically "bienvenido". That's about it.

"Enjoyable" is an adjective describing something that is fun: "divertido" or "agradable". I think that someone changed your word "funny", which isn't (probably) what you were trying to say. "Funny" is actually something that makes you laugh - a joke or something that happened that was a non-critical mistake, etc.

Then enjoyable is not very used.

In your example you told me that I should change the word funny by fun, I believe that you are right.

Because they aren't the same in meaning.
