Yo no ha participado mucho en los foros recientemente. He estado muy ocupada. Y las tres semanas próxima, voy a estar mas que ocupada.

Pero yo quiero participar en los foros durante estas semanas, sin embargo.

Pues ..... pensé que le diría a todos sobre mis actividades. Creo que estaría necesario para muchas correcciones. :) Y quizá tendremos unas discusiones interesantes. ??

La primera cosa está: yo compré una casa. El lunes (30 de marzo) estará la última inspección. (En inglés, "walk-through".) El martes (31 de marzo) estará la cita para firma los papeles legales. Y el lunes (6 de abril) estará cuando la compañía de mudanza llevará mis cosas.

Mientras, mi orquesta se prepara para los conciertos de la Pascua. Tenemos uno ensayo (tres horas) mañana, y un otro ensayo (tres horas) el miercoles (1 de abril). El primero concierto está el viernes (3 de abril). Entre el 3 de abril y el 11 de abril tendremos diez conciertos. ¡¡WHEW!! (¿Está "whew" el mismo en los dos idiomas? :))

Jueves, el 2 de abril, estará el último día de quatrimestre. (¿Comó se dice "quarter" o "grading period" en español?) Yo tendré muchas pruebas a calificar.

Finalmente, yo planifico un hecho por un organización "non-profit" local. El hecho estará el 17 y 18 de abril. Está una reunión para el directivo. Yo reservo los cuartos del hotel. Yo organizo con los proveedores de comida. Y (la mas difícil), yo coordino con los elencos (???) del directivo. YYYYYYyyyyyyyyyyy ... una de los elencos es una gran amiga. Ella estará una invitada en mi (nueva) casa entre el 16 de abril y el 20 de abril. Durante su visita tendremos una fiesta de cenar. (¿Comó se dice "dinner party" en español?)

¿Dije "whew!"? No yo entendí escribir tanto. Lo siento. Pero hay muchas oportunidades por correcciones.........

Oooh - se me olvidó ... entre el 6 de abril y el 10 de abril está mis vacación de primavera... desencajonaré mis cosas en mi nueva casa..........

Some more working on "para/por" and "ser/estar" will be needed, but it's been a fine job. :)

¡Gracias, Malila - por pasando tiempo! ¡Las correcciones son muy útil! Sí - necesito trabajar con "ser/estar" y "para/por". Estos son en mi lista por estudiando. Tambien los pronombres. ¡Ay!

Quizá Rusty hará el camio en el título........ :)

Tip: We're touchy about gerund. Normally, English "-ing" passes rather as an infinitive in Spanish. ;)

I didn't realize Angelica was doing an excellent job of correcting at the same time. That was a lot to correct, and I see I missed a few "opportunities." But, at least now you have two perspectives.

Ah hem... I learn different things from each of you and value both inputs for opposite reasons: Malila, native Spanish speaker with an excellent grasp of English ... and Rusty, native English speaker with excellent Spanish skills. I always love hearing what each of you has to say!! :)

I only meant your style is a lot more pedagogic, in the noble sense of the word. I think that's why people learn pretty easily from your comments. :)
