I do agree with you! When we were playing with my filipino guitarist in latin bar we arranged many songs in spanish to fit the atmosphere of the place, I couldnt remember the lyrics of the songs just as some sounds without understanding, so I used a dictionary to translate and understand every single line, only after that i could learn the song, and not only the song but a lot of new words. But it was much harder when I decided to fulfil my dream to sing a song in tagalog..:-)
