Estaba saboreando su pastel hasta que se acordó de la dieta que estaba llevando.
He was enjoying his cake until he remembered that he was on a diet.

Saboreando, sa, saboreando, saboreando,sa sa saboreando, etc. Los besos que tu me das, te juro que no los siento. Tu me besas en la oreja y soy sordo de nacimiento. Peret. :D

Saboreé is correct. However in spoken language (not written language), you will often hear saborié, because it's easier to pronounce. It is a non-standard usage, and should not be used in formal situations. This is applicable to most verbs that end in -ear.
