Encimar
This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for April 18, 2009
encimar (verb) — to stack, stack up, put something on top of (something else), overlap. Look up encimar in the dictionary ¿Puedes encimar las sillas junto a la pared? Can you stack the chairs by the wall? |

Okay switching to English so I can explain better. Amontonar and apilar, for me is to put or place something in a pile. Not necessarily in order. Encimar, for me is to stack things up in some type of order. I know I could be wrong but that is how I have used those words before. :hmm::hmm: |

Si queremos decir algo asi, decimos: apílalo alli o amontónalo alli. y punto. :D |
I can use the word stack in my follow examples.
I stacked my bed upon the table. |
Why would you do such a thing?:confused::confused::confused:
|
Yeah Crotalito, why would you want to do something like that?
:thinking::confused: |
I know encimar is used in Mexico. I guess it's not used in (any?) others. :)
