Correspondence of gender in the first sentence (highlighted)
Extra article in the second.

In the last group jchen you've forgotten some articles.

Jessica April 22, 2009 03:22 PM

in the example there wasn't any :P

Ambarina April 22, 2009 03:29 PM

Ok, but the sentences are not correct Spanish. Have a look at this and the translation: Sus padres le dan falda y blusa - Her parents give her skirt and blouse. Isn't there something missing?

Jessica April 22, 2009 05:32 PM

oh you're right I will add the articles then.

Ambarina gave the correction for this sentence in post #2.
No article is needed before música, and no preposition should follow escuchar when the direct object is inanimate. Escuchar translates as to listen to in English. However, a personal a is required when the direct object is a person (or something pertaining to that person).
Juan está escuchando música. = John is listening to music.
Juan está escuchando su consejo. = John is listening to his/her/your/its counsel.
Juan está escuchando a su mamá. = John is listening to his mom.
Juan está escuchando a su corazón. = John is following his heart.
