Let me introduce you

Let me introduce you

How do you say "Let me introduce you ....."?

Is "permítame introducir..." correct?

Ambarina April 26, 2009 08:41 AM

I take it you mean introducing people?
In that case in a formal situation you would say:
Formal situation: Permítame presentarle a....., Me gustaría presentarle a..., Le presento a.....

Jessica April 26, 2009 08:45 AM

Yes, it would be what Ambarina said...I would probably use "le presento a". "I'd like you to meet" would be "te presento a".
:/

No,its not introducing a person.
The complete sentence is
"Let me introduce you to an indian delicacy"

Ambarina April 26, 2009 09:16 AM

In that case, you could say something like...
Me gustaría darles a conocer un manjar / una delicia de la India.

Ambarina April 26, 2009 09:18 AM

BTW, do tell us what it is. :)
