not in dictionary
convirtir is not in the dictionary. I have seen it used a lot in the sports section, especially with the mundial. e.g. Italia se convirtio en la gran estrella indiscutible...

Re: not in dictionary
Hola Haloe Boy!
The verb is "convertir", later the declination makes it "convirtió" Yo me convertí en elefante I convert/shaped? myself in an elephant Tu te convertiste en elefante El se convirtió Nosotros nos convertimos Vosostros os convertisteis Ellos se convirtieron. Saludos |
Re: not in dictionary
no, that is a different verb. convirtir means to pull off or convert.

From http://www.wordreference.com/
convertir verbo transitivo 1 to turn, change 2 Rel to convert - Diccionario Espasa Concise: Español-Inglés English-Spanish © Espasa-Calpe, S.A., Madrid 2000 I only know this. I don't know "convirtir". Sorry |

Re: not in dictionary
I agree with sosia on this. It's convertir and the e changes to i in some conjugations as already mentioned.
