Controversy

I don't understand what it means by "controversy". I have to write a paper about Genetic discrimination and I have to explain why a controversy exists. I don't know what that means!

Hurry up and help me, it's due tomorrow

"Controversy" is a dispute between opposing points of view... If you're talking about genetic discrimination, the discussion is between people who think there is only advantages in this kind of discoveries and those who are worried that there will be abuses on the use of this knowledge... this debate involves what you've done before, arguing for "yes" and "no" in the previous paper.

Basically it means that one person thinks something and another thinks something else..

For example

Some people think that we should be allowed to own guns
Others think guns should be banned

They argue, and there is a controversy

As previous explained, the reaql problem of a controversy it's that there are nt only white or black, but some "grey" zones. Minor advances are good, but big advances can be dangerous.
Genetic controversy
Person A. It's good. It can help to avoid very bad illnes in man. It can givde better vegetables for arid zones.
Person B. It's bad. If we mix man genes with beast genes, wich result we have.? A man? a beast? In wich moment the man is less man?
Is good to "altere" vegetables and to loss the "normal" ones?

greetings :D
