You can say the following.

I want to play my guitar today.
Quiero tocar mi guitarra hoy.
I have wish to play my guitar today.
Tengo deseos de tocar mi guitarra hoy.
I desire to play my guitar today.
Quiero tocar mi guitarra hoy.

Really I need to play my guitar today for dedicate one song to my girlfriend. :violin: :whistling:
