Tener ganas de/querer

Hola a todos,

¿Qué la differencia entre los dos?

¿Uno muestra más 'desire' que el otro, o los son el mismo? No sé:confused::confused:

Tengo ganas de tocar mi guitarra - I have desire to...
Quiero tocar mi guitarra - I want to...

gracias amigos

in this case , can you use wish:
I wish to play....? is it ok?
I didn`t know the word desire:
or you can use: I would like to pay guitar.
but I`m confused in these words.. * _ ^

Para mí son intercambiables, aunque "tengo ganas de" es un poco (no mucho) más coloquial que "quiero".

Cual es la diferencia entre las dos oraciones?

This is the way more correct that you can use.

In second answer for you.

You can say the following.

I want to play my guitar today.
Quiero tocar mi guitarra hoy.
I have wish to play my guitar today.
Tengo deseos de tocar mi guitarra hoy.
I desire to play my guitar today.
Quiero tocar mi guitarra hoy.

Really I need to play my guitar today for dedicate one sing to my girlfriend.

I like the 80's to music as the Nirvana. I'd like to take the Nirvana's music.

irmamar May 29, 2009 12:44 PM

I love 80's music, too :)

I started playing guitar when I was eight, but later I started learning piano and I prefer the last one.

That's funny; I played piano as a child and picked up a guitar at age ... well, four or so years ago. (23-24).

I like piano but I prefer guitar. The whole reason I started playing guitar is because the house I bought doesn't have enough room for my piano, so it had to stay at my parent's house. I'd like to have one again, whenever we move to a bigger house, but until then I'm more than content with my guitar.

En español se usa "tocar", but in inglés se usa, "play/jugar":)

That's on the contrary from me :)

I have an electric piano, they're smaller than the other ones and, as I'm not a "virtuoso", that's enough for me.

Yeah, I've thought about buying one but I don't have that kind of extra money at the moment.
