Mar adentro

Hola,

"Mar adentro" means to navigate away from the shore.

Los barcos navegan mar adentro.
Ships navigate offshore.

"Dentro del mar" means to dive in the sea.

Los tiburones viven dentro del mar.
Sharks live in the sea.

Have you seen the film "Mar adentro"? It's a hard film, but I liked it a lot.

I have one suggestion in your translation.

Sharks live within of the sea.

Los tiburones viven dentro del mar.

I guess that you didn't set the word dentro in English.

Then How you would say Tierra adentro.?

Si mar adentro significado "sail out on the sea", ¿qué significado esta frase "tierra adentro"?

Walk out on the land?

Gracias amigo:):):

"Tierra adentro" is away from the shore, but on dry land. I think the equivalent word should be "inland".

I think that "hard" is a very expressive expression. I mean that it is a film than explain hard things (el protagonista se queda tetrapléjico tras un accidente en el mar y quiere morir).
