using ¨A¨ before an infinitive
Hi, often I´ll see short frases like:A ver or,as the title of a book:Español..A descubrirlo. I don't quite understand the reason for the A. agradezco la ayuda!!

Re: using ¨A¨ before an infinitive
Grammatically I'm not totally sure about the explanation for this, but it basically means "let's"
a ver - let's see a descubirlo - let's discover it (let's go discovering) or something similar. BTW, Bienvenido a los foros! |
Re: using ¨A¨ before an infinitive
Is this the "personal A" that they talk about?

Re: using ¨A¨ before an infinitive
No, the "personal A" its when the direct object is a person
info http://www.studyspanish.com/lessons/persa.htm This case its more like "vamos a ..." ("lets do ...") (Vamos) a ver - let's see (vamos )a descubirlo - let's discover it (let's go discovering) saludos |
