Me interesa saber como traducir bordar un papel en una película o incluso bordar un examen. Gracias:impatient:

bordar = to do excellently

Based on the definition above, I believe the following is a good translation:
He aced the test.
= Él bordó el exámen.
= Él clavó el exámen. (¿Será igual?)

Bordar el papel = to portray the role very well (I kind of sense this might also mean 'to take the leading/main role (el papel principal)', as well)

Ana Belén portrayed the role/part very well in ....
Ana Belén took the lead (leading role) in ...

I think I would translate it as: "(Ana Belén) excelled in the "X" role in "The Turkish Passion".

That works.

(actor) excelled as (role) in (film).
(actor) did a good job of portraying (role) in (film).
(actor) played (role) very well in (film).
