Class in the school

Do you remember that I told you this?

I will take a test in a English school to see my English level...

Well just I did it.

But for bad luck I got seven, and the teacher decided send me to the basic level because, he told me that I don't use the structure correctly, therefore, he believed that is better that I start in the level basic so I can remember everything that I don't know use, I don't know but when I was doing the test, I became nervous and well of this way was more difficult answer the oral questions, well, I felt me a little bad with it result:mad:, but I believe that is better because so I can learn again the I forget about it, but I never thought that going to start again since first level.

You know as I endeavored much during this time in improve my English and even son I didn't past the test.

Note for those who are not familiar with Mexico: this would be a 70% grade, tests are graded on a 0 to 10 scale in Mexico.

Hi Crotalito, don't feel bad about this test score. It's better to start at a lower level and review the things you already know than to start out too high, get in over your head, and not learn anything. Remember, reviewing is an important part of the learning process.

I agree with David Crotalito.....don't feel bad. The good thing is that you will be reviewing a lot of grammar that you have already learned and you will be able to improve on your sentence structure.

One thing to remember.....do not literally translate words from one language to another when trying to form a sentence. If you do that then more times than none the sentence will not make sense.

Good luck!

:applause:

I agree with them, Crotalito. Sometimes, it's good to review what you've already learnt, so you can keep the concepts in your mind. ¡Ánimo! ;)

Thank you to everybody.

I know that will learn more during the class, although I believe that I knew something and I see it's not true, but I don't worry me, because I know that it's for my own benefit.

Thanks David, Irmamar, Elaina, Jchen.

I will do my major endeavor in the English class.

Literal translations can be dangerous. :)

If it makes you feel any better, I'd be placed in the basic Spanish class, were I to go back in school.

The advantage is, since you already know a good bit, it'll make your learning more complete.

And I'd like to add something: you'll be the first in your class ;)
