How do I motivate myself?

I love spanish, don't get me wrong. I do pretty good at it too, but I cant modivate myself to do my homework. I always leave it to the last minute and I'm rushing to finish it and so I don't do it very good. I love speaking spanish and I have a tutor and me and a couple of other students talk with her and we're pretty good at Spanish but when it comes to homework, i just can't seem to make any headway. What should I do?

I used to procrastinate all the time but now my motto is just do it. When I have to do something i try to do it right away as soon as I can, and that way I don't ahve the option of procrastinating. Maybe that will help you.

My mom tricks herself with chocolates to help her get things done.

I hear ya, but seriously listen to what I'm saying in post 2. The answer is just do it because if you don't "just do it" you'll spend half your life trying to figure out the best way to get things done, and you won't ever get started. You'll be so busy trying to figure out a "concrete way of making yourself do things" and you won't do the things. So follow nike's advice...

Yeah, I understand what you mean Meats, but even that's hard for me ... I guess I'm a hopeless case?

Thanks guys for the help, some days I do better than others and some days I fall back to my procrastination. Hopefully it'll keep getting better!

I haven't studied for a while, but I'm planning on doing an accellerated course this summer it starts in a month, so I gotta plan and figure out how I'm going to remember this stuff.
