In American English we don't have a direct translation. Gun crazy is a phrase for is a phrase for someone who goes crazy wielding a weapon.

In English spoken in India there is a saying that translates it: The monkey's
got the knife.
It's a very illustrative phrase, but in the US only immigrants from India and their friends know it.

En España se usa para decir no juegues con el arma, porque por un descuido o error se te puede disparar sin querer, porque las carga el demonio.

This is not a set saying, just a piece of advice I've often heard that is similar in meaning to the Spanish phrase: "Always treat a gun as if it were loaded".

In English we say: Don't play with fire. You'll get burned.
