This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for July 12, 2009

pastel (masculine noun (el)) — cake. Look up pastel in the dictionary

Probaron el pastel y se dieron cuenta de que no tenía azúcar.
They tasted the cake and realized it didn't have any sugar.

It's weir, here in my state you can do a eggs up of the car's chest.

Because in Carmen is so hot that the eggs finished made only with sun's light.
Or there is so hot.

"Pastel", as a cake, in other countries is rather a "torta".
