Hey everyone :D My real name's Julia, but you can call me Zules. I'm 14 and in 8th grade. This year I'm taking Spanish as one of my electives. And I'm totally into it. Since I'm half Mexican, I really want to learn the language to converse better when I'm down at my abuelos house. Aside from the fact I just love Spanish.

So I stumbled across this site, and I really like it. :) It's right up there in my favorites bar, so I can click on it anytime I need a word.

Well, hopefully you'll be seeing a lot of me around, even if I'm just lurking. :cool:

Welcome Zules! Nice to have you here and I wish you the best of luck studying Spanish and learning it better, although luck usually isn´t involved, it has more to do with hard work :)

If one of your parents is Mexican, then you probably speak better Spanish than you think, even if it's not the same Spanish that they're teaching in class. I remember when I got to speaking "real" Spanish, I noticed lots of things that were quite different from the rules taught in class.
