Or a little more oldfashioned (at least I have never heard it used myself):

Finders keepers = el que se fue a Sevilla perdió su silla
you´re right, this implies especially GREED, you want all for you. ANd you don´t have to be in a position of power. It´s like the more you have, the more you want.

I think the best translation is:

Ave que no vuela, a la cazuela.
If the opportunity to (steal/be corrupt/get some personal gain out of your position of trust) presents itself, go for it.
