Alegrar la vista

ROBINDESBOIS August 14, 2009 10:21 AM

Alegrar la vista

alegrar la vista
ejemplos:

1.Con ese cuerpazo vas a alegrar la vista de muchas
2. Me voy a dar un voltio para alegrar un poco la vista por la calle, aquí me aburro.

Can anybody tranlate these two sentences into English, pleaaaaaaaaaaase?

I would use "to cheer up" or "to delight the eye".

Con ese cuerpazo vas a alegrar la vista de muchas.
You're going to delight many an eye with that body.

Me voy a dar un voltio para alegrar un poco la vista por la calle, aquí me aburro.
I'm going to go out and see what I can see around town, it's too boring here.

I thought of eye candy, how can you use that?

In the sense that you want to delight your eye seing nice bodies and faces.

Oh it's a 'popular' term referring to people (predominantly 'celebs') that are 'easy on the eye' - You know Beckham, Brad Pitt etc. :D

Could also be an 'eyecatcher'/ 'eyecatching'. :)

Okay, thanks for clearing that up!
