You're a good student, you don't give problems to them, so, use those arguments to convince them to allow you to use the sites you like. Try to establish a timetable with the time you're going to surf the Web, you're going to study or doing another things. In this way you can reach an agreement with your parents. oh, they allow me on the computer. I just can't have fun :/ and my dad used NETGEAR firewall to block it.....

Jason, if I might have a haunter, I will do the same with her, because you know the youthfulness have way to violate the restrictions made for the parents and they're some crazy during the life, therefore I don't see something bad in that the Jchen's dad take care to her, but I believe that most to exist a little communication between them.;)
