Nunca le gustaste

hola August 30, 2009 05:30 PM

Nunca le gustaste

doesn't this mean he never liked you

nunca le gustaste

i keep insisting to people that yes this is what it says/means

the verb gustar is really confusing them (or me perhaps)

but i know i must be right according to the law of the language

He never liked you is correct.

Hola

Nunca le gusta (it never appealed to him - he doesn't like it)

Nunca le gustaste (you never appealed to him - he never liked you)

Nunca le gustaste.
He (or She) never liked you (in a romantic sense).

Yes, hola, you're right. And as David said, it's more common to be heard when it comes to a love-relationship.
