Subirse a la parra

Subirse a la parra

In English?
Ej.: Me parece que te estás subiendo a la parra últimamente .
It means "sobrepasarse "

According to the Gran Diccionario Oxford Inglés-Español:
subirse a la parra (fam) (envanecerse): to get bigheaded (colloq)
subirse a la parra (fam) (encolerizarse): to blow one's top (colloq), to flip one's lid (colloq)

Pero sobrepasarse es algo distinto, ¿no?

I think those traductions are allright. You can sobrepasarte in many things, from anger and from haughtiness as in those definitions are two things you can sobrepasar.
