:lol: Never heard that one before.. :D :thumbsup:

Maybe slightly underwhelming after the other options, but how about
'She's a looker' (be sure not to mistake the l for an h though.. :eek:)

Maybe: ' She's a babe' :confused: :D

Or : She's a fox ..? :p

Hi again by the way Robindesbois.. Did your absence have anything to do with your superficial reasons for wanting to improve your English? :p
(Just wondering nothing to do with this topic or anything.. :rolleyes: :lol: )

( Sorry I couldn't resist.. :p )

PD Is this expression used for men also?

No, I went on vacation for 16 days. Now I´m back; though I don´t think I will be able to connect myself everyday, I have lots of things to do.

I think I have reached a plateau. But I still try to improve myself. When you learn a foreign language as an adult, and you´re not surrounded but the target language, it´s difficult to keep up. At least in the Netherlands you can watch TV in English, in Spain every film is dubbed.

Hmmm true..it's the only way to break through the 'plateau' (or stalemate) I guess, to 'submerge' yourself. Then again it's not like all the Dutch can speak English fluently, regardless.. :p

At any rate, this will be just as difficult for me wrt Spanish in future also because I have little access to it here wrt television or talking to people..

Anyone who could recommend me some place/ site where I could watch some Spanish dubbed tv preferably with English subtitles..?? (Just to sneak a peak occasionally..), I'd really appreciate it! :) (I know about TVE 'tv a la carte' etc but are there any other tv stations that put programs online to watch?)

¿Pero que no dicen que se quita el hipo con un susto?

Entonces no sería "bombshell" "breathtaking" "looker" "stunner"

Sería mas bien........cuerpo de tentación, cara de arrepentimiento!

:lol::lol:
