And we have a wonderful sunnyday today in Quebec. So Beautiful!

Jessica September 07, 2009 12:23 PM

It is also labor day in the US

VivaEspana September 07, 2009 01:56 PM

Happy Labor Day to those hardworking CEOs in Quebec, Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, etc. who probably put in more hours than the ordinary whining worker!

CrOtALiTo September 07, 2009 03:33 PM

Here in Mexico exactly no labor day, but I believe that the September 5 is the more common celebrated in this side of the world.

irmamar September 08, 2009 03:01 AM

In Spain also May 1st.

ookami September 08, 2009 06:04 AM

Good day to the north workers!

pixel September 08, 2009 09:15 PM

In fact, to be more accurate, in Canada (and maybe the USA, but not sure) it is the first Monday of September.

Rusty September 08, 2009 09:23 PM

Ditto for the USA.

I think I didn't understand you .

In Spain we don't work on the Labour Day (Día del Trabajo). Do you?

ookami September 10, 2009 07:11 AM

I think he wanted to say that althought it's a special day for the workers, it's even more -special- for the rural people because of the help from the government.

Crotalito has does not work on Labor day either, I'm sure

CrOtALiTo September 10, 2009 11:03 AM

Sofia and Jchen.

I work in Labor day, because the industrial petroleum never stop, therefore here in Carmen everybody work that day even thought the day is payed the double, because is a holiday.

irmamar September 10, 2009 01:05 PM

And do rural people receive something from the government?

VivaEspana September 10, 2009 01:09 PM

The government leader or the congressman works more than 8 hours too while all his constituents have to do is use the roads, sewerage, water systems without even thanking the politician who made them all possible. Happy Labor Day too, Stephen Harper, Gilles Duceppe, Layton, and Michael Ignatieff.

irmamar September 10, 2009 01:12 PM

Vivaespana, a veces no entiendo nada de lo que dices
