Tapes/cd's

Are the Spanish lauguage tapes/cd's a good place to learn how to pronounce words and sentences? Or do they focus on pronouncations from only one area or country?

I usually teach English, but I've taught Spanish for a year now and one of the methods I used last course included both Spain Spanish and South American versions of all the recordings. It is true however that the texts are not completely natural as they are recorded in a studio.

I just checked out from the local county library totalmente gratis a Spanish book on CDs. There are 17 over an hour CDs. Epitafio de un Asesino. Nothing better for learning Spanish than listening to Spanish audio books regardless of the accent or dialect.
