Nos dejó en la estacada
How do you say "dejar en la estacada" in English? It means to leave sb in the lurch.
I think you answered the question yourself.
I know, isn´t that funny?
I've always heard (and used) in a lurch. According to Internet usage, in the lurch is more popular. I don't recall ever hearing it, however.

Always heard in the lurch myself. Regional variations, I guess.
