Ejemplo:

Cada vez que voy a pedir información sobre la nueva ayuda del gobierno, no dejan de darme largas, siempre me dicen vuelva usted mañana. Y nunca me informan.

Dar largas ??? En inglés?

dar largas = to give someone the run-around, to mislead, to misdirect, to put someone off.
